Distressing is when we add some character to give the table a more ‘rustic’ look. We add some nicks, divets, sanding marks.
Adding the breadboard option to your table is totally an aesthetic choice depending on your taste and style. Option available only on Farmhouse Tables and Harvest Tables.
Breadboards are not always flush with the sides of the table. Since wood moves across the grain seasonally (in warm weather the panel expands, in cold weather it shrinks) and not along the grain, a breadboard end will either fall short of the panel edge or will extend past it, depending on the season. Square Legs - This is our standard option for farmhouse legs. Table legs are square.
Tapered Legs - Provides the same amount of stability, but the leg becomes narrower towards the floor. Many of our customers believe it reduces some of the visual "chunk" associated with the standard square legs.
Your matching farmhouse bench is automatically sized to slide in-between your table legs. You are able to slide the bench under when not in use.
